Why We’ve Stopped Posting Trades So Often…..
September 8, 2008
Hi all,
I am sure that the few remaining readers I have on this blog have noticed some changes:
1. Little to no trades posted
2. Other “TRADE” blog shut down
3. Generally less info being posted
Well here are some answers if anyone cares.
Firstly, I just discovered “blogging” about 6mos. ago. I really enjoy it. I set up some blogs about some hobbies of mine and1 or 2 about life in general. I found it to have a good effect on my moods and state of mind…………..it essentially calmed me down.
So finally it dawned on me to start a blog about what I knew best ……..Trading and Analizing markets, specifically the FXmarket. I checked around and so all the incredibly stupid scams going on out there and I decided I’d chime in with a little reality. It was great. I combined my newest hobby, blogging , with my biggest interest, trading………………it was euphoric. Now more specifically towards the question of less trade signal posts…………its hard to post and trade in real time.
I espouse, on this blog, a conservative, easy to achieve, low expectation style of trading, because that what I think any audience I may have had or have should be employing if they either are just starting trading or were thinking of trading Forex.
This is not the type of trading strategy that I/we at my company employ. We trade much more frequently on usually 6-10 pairs simultaneously, using even less margin, like .2-.5 X our account value. Thankfully we are connected to a firm that gives us very good files and little to NO spreads. It is a very active type of trading enviroment because we risk so little on each trade our rewards are smaller, per trade, so we must maximize our trading and take advantage of every opportunities a scanning programs provide us………………….its had to do this job and blog at the same time, and I,my firm, have paid for it with diminished LIVE REAL MONEY trading returns, our returns aren’t negative but they are less profitable or at least they were, while I was blogging more often.
Well in the end I figured out that blogging about trading is great fun,………………………… but trading while blogging is not. I began to feel responsible to the few people who actually subscribed to my feed………admirable but unrealistic……………..and not fun anymore.
Regarding question #2
Read the above andthen think of running a second blog on top , which I tried and failed at………….ya know I don’t earn a living doing this…………….I support myself and my family working at my job, trading……..not blogging.
Needless to say when I started the short lived 2nd blog, the hour by hour stress to actually trade REAL MONEY and running not 1 but now 2 blogs on trading. ………….well if you saw the blog trading results………….the live ones suffered also, and guys…………….thats real money and I got partners, some of whom think “blogging” has to do with “logging”.
Regarding Question #3 …………see all of the above,
………..but know that I will start posting again…… opinions, articles of interest, and some educational and trading tips………………just not 1 or 2 every waking hour
…………sorry I just took it too seriously………………lets have some fun again.

Using internet is simple as hell. But I can tell y ou right now, it can be very hard, if you are the first time user.
So, first thing I suggest – open the Explorer, and type in the address you like.
You’ll get there really fast, it depends on your connection speed.
Good luck.
